  • Parchment paper
  • medium mixing bowl
  • Heatproof bowl
  • Whisk
  • rubber spatula
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Small saucepan
  • Cooling rack

Ingredients

  • 1 cup white chocolate chips or chopped white chocolate
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter
  • 0.75 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1.5 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 0.5 cup chopped macadamia nuts or walnuts optional

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking pan with parchment paper.
  • Melt butter and white chocolate together over low heat in a saucepan, stirring until smooth.
  • Whisk in sugar, then add eggs and vanilla extract.
  • Fold in flour and salt gently; do not overmix.
  • Stir in macadamia nuts or walnuts, if using.
  • Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth the top.
  • Bake for 25–30 minutes, until edges are set but center is still soft.
  • Cool on a rack before cutting into squares.

Notes

Store in an airtight container for up to three days. For longer storage, freeze with parchment between layers. Use fresh white chocolate for best flavor, and try toasting the nuts for extra crunch. Serve warm with ice cream or a drizzle of melted chocolate for a special treat.
